We are passionate about dancing and love to share our passion with everyone.

With each lesson we hope you not only learn something new, but also have a great time meeting with other fun loving people!

~ Francisco (Paco) Fernandez & Suzana Sainol

We love dance.

Suzana is the co-founder, principal instructor and choreographer at The Studio teaching Cuban Salsa, Bachata, Kizomba & Cha Cha Cha.

An experienced and natural teacher who teaches both lead and follow, she has the ability to break down and communicate the subtler points of technique and musicality to any level of student. Her classes are always relaxed and fun.  She actively engages with the group and individuals so that everyone is able to understand and progress in the class, building confidence in the students so they become better dancers.

Suzana is a natural dancer who can adapt quickly to whoever she dances with. A light and responsive follower who always brings elegance and her own brand of hot sauce to a dance. Great body movement and musicality always delivered with a smile.

Suzana's personality and her attitude with people means that The Studio is a welcoming environment. Not only the classes but also the socials, which have a reputation for being relaxed and inclusive, where newcomers immediately feel like part of the family rather than an outsider. No matter if you are a beginner or an advanced dancer, Suzana will make you feel at home at The Studio.

Having been dancing salsa and bachata since 2006, Ahmad Max has successfully fused his years of experience as a hip hop street dancer with his passion for Latin dance to bring together his own unique groovy and smooth style that is recognized by the local and international latin dance scenes.

Throughout his years of dancing, Ahmad Max has performed, taught and competed in many dance events and competitions. Some of his accolades include First runner up in the 2010 Asia Bachata Championship, Champion in the 2010 NTU/NBS Got Talent and more recently Champion in the 2014 Asia Bachata Championship.

Known for his sleek moves, musicality and flavor, Ahmad Max is a also a favorite bachata lead among many ladies in the scene. His warm and sanguine personality never fails to make his classes vibrant and fun, and will definitely make you want to come back for more.
